The moms and dads shuttle their young athletes to practices and games hassle-free, with little or no accompanying drama. But we’ve all heard or read about the antics of a small minority of jerks. After a hockey practice, a coach was beaten to death by a father who was upset about rough play in a scrimmage. The assailant was convicted of involuntary manslaughter.
